Small Beginnings

Every journey starts with a single step. Often the first step is taken in fear and trepidation. Such is the way of the budding author.

Here you will find the steps that Trish Robson makes on her journey to becoming an officially recognised and published author.

Each small success will be recorded, as well as the many obstacles that will find their way underfoot.

And so the journey begins...

Hurrah!

Since deactivating 'The Contents of Trish's Brain' a new blog has been implemented to cater for those people who do not have a facebook account and therefore cannot access 'ih-klek-tik' or other publications.

Today has seen a tiny effort towards a great work of art - three small sentences, all packed with meaning, have been written as the beginning of my very first novel. I'm not telling you what it's about, or the title, but be rest assured that by the end of 2011, it will be complete.

Three small sentences doesn't seem like a lot, but when I've been wanting to start my novel for around eleven months, it is a huge step. I internally tremble with both fear and excitement at the possibilities that may come my way.

I know that I will learn much along the way. It is my hope that this time next year, I can be ready for the next step: publication!
